The Lungs correspond to the element of Metal. We have included this energy to help promote deep breathing.

The Kidneys (adrenals) correspond to the element of Water. The Stress response drains the Kidneys by overactivation of the Adrenals.

We seek to strengthen the kidney energy. The theme for the SACRAL (2nd) Chakra is included as the energy of this chakra allows you to let go, to move, and to feel change and transformation occurring within your body. It allows you to experience this moment as it is, in its own fullness. The Sacral Chakra also supports the health of the Kidneys.

Track Two

Reduce Inflammation (Harmonic Egg® Wellness Tracks)

Calming, relaxing, washing away pain, expanding, and widening. Inflammation indicates excess heat; therefore, we use Water as an energy to provide a cooling effect.

Also, the Water element (Kidneys) has influence on our adrenals and cortisol levels in the blood stream.

By calming the adrenals and lowering cortisol, we lower stress levels and pain from inflammation.

Inflammation indicates stagnation of blood and lymph. Wood element (Liver) is responsible for the free and unfettered movement of blood and energy in the body, so we use Wood to facilitate flow. Helpful for people recovering from trauma, stroke, and surgery. Wood (Liver) helps cleanse the blood and is vital for lymph production. Earth (Spleen) is the energy of transformation of food and fluid into blood and energy.

As we nourish the Earth, new blood can form. Additionally,the Spleen in Western physiology is considered the largestlymph gland in the body and as we are seeking to help lymph flow, this is included. We include a ‘bit’ of the Fire theme (on flute). This might seem counter intuitive as we are seeking to reduce heat.

Our rationale to include a bit of Fire (Heart) is that in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine), the heart is the ‘home’ of our Shen (spirit). If our Shen is calm, then pain can be more tolerable, and the Spirit can be more at rest. Vata governs all movement in the mind and body. It controls blood flow, ELIMINATION OF WASTES, breathing and the movement of thoughts across the mind.
